SecondWind Triton - SN 457 - with Propane Heater and Upgraded 320 watt PV
SecondWind Triton Wind Profilers are easily deployable and rugged sonic ranging and detection devices for remotely sensed wind measurements. This device is ideal for campaigns such as power curve studies, monitoring wake effects and exploratory wind measurements. SecondWind Tritons are a cost-effective means of conducting wind measurement campaigns as compared with traditional met towers and are capable of lowering uncertainty at hub height.
Triton (SN 457) has a brand new propane heater and has had screening added to prevent rodent intrusion. This Triton is powered by two upgraded 160 watt solar panels or 320 watts total (originally 170 watts total).
All Tritons are shipped from our location as fully operational units. All Tritons include two ground anchors and the original photo voltaic brackets in addition to the brackets currently mounted on the device. Tritons are not shipped with batteries or propane.
